Moore Law Firm

Our Attorneys

“We fight for you: neighbor serving neighbor.”

At Moore Law Firm, we understand that when you’ve been injured due to the fault or negligence of another, you need a team with both expertise and a passion to tell your story and fight for you.  The justice system can be overwhelming. You do not have to navigate your journey alone.

When you hire our team to represent you, we will be with you every step of the way, from the beginning of your case until its resolution. We do not make false promises, and we never pass your case on to others. We fight for you: neighbor serving neighbor.

Our ultimate goal is to seek the maximum settlement or favorable verdict for your case, but not at the expense of your well-being.

If a fair settlement can not be reached, we will go to trial and fight for you. We always take the path that is in the best interest of our clients. We seek fair compensation to ensure your needs are met both now and in the future after your injury or loss.

This approach has been the foundation of our practice for over a quarter century, and it’s why your friends and neighbors have trusted us in some of their darkest times. When you choose us as your advocate, we commit to standing beside you and supporting you every step of the way.

Meet Our Attorneys

Michael D. Moore

Founder / Attorney

I am dedicated to excellence in trial. I handle numerous types of civil cases including commercial trucking accidents, life-altering personal injuries, civil defense work, complex insurance litigation, wrongful death, and products liability. However, my passion is righting the wrongs inflicted by others on behalf of my clients.

Though my biggest plaintiff cases have confidentiality provisions, I can still say that I have recovered many millions of dollars for victims of commercial truck crashes. I have tried lawsuits before juries in almost all counties in western Kentucky, and I have argued cases in the Court of Appeals and Supreme Court of Kentucky as well as the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals in our Federal Courts (just one step below the US Supreme Court). I will be your advocate. I will fight for you.

Jake Carter

Trial Attorney

The legal system does not care who you are, what you have accomplished, or who your family is. Everyone is entitled to their day in court. Everyone is given a chance to tell their side of the story. That is why I love practicing law: it’s an area of life where all people are treated equally and fairly.

Sports have consumed the better half of my life. The competition aspect I acquired through playing sports has stuck with me. To be successful, you must have something to fight for. In that season of life, I fought for my team. Now, I fight for my clients. I enjoy getting in the trenches and putting in the hard work necessary for my clients to prevail. Let me fight for you.
